PMP Certified Cybersecurity Project Manager

Job Summary

To lead technical cybersecurity projects, the remote Senior Cybersecurity Project Manager will manage project direction, communication, and coordination, ensuring timely delivery within budget and quality standards over a 6-month contract.

Key responsibilities

• Manage projects with internal and external dependencies, ensuring alignment with functional capabilities and financial management
• Develop, review, and validate multiple project plans while tracking project status and financial information
• Facilitate project issue resolution and manage risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications effectively

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Information Technology and/or Cybersecurity Project Management
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience in IT
• Project Management Professional (PMP) and CompTIA Security+ certifications required within 180 days of hire
• Advanced proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project and understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
• Knowledge of Information Security frameworks, standards, and principles
