Job Summary
Providing enterprise-level leadership, the remote contract-to-hire PMP Certified Portfolio Director will architect and manage a comprehensive portfolio governance framework, ensuring alignment of strategic initiatives with organizational objectives while overseeing portfolio planning, prioritization, and performance management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and lead enterprise-wide governance frameworks to align strategic investments with corporate objectives
- Facilitate C-suite portfolio governance forums for high-quality decision-making through scenario planning and risk assessment
- Provide executive oversight and mentorship to the portfolio team, ensuring consistent application of governance standards
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), Project Management, Engineering, or a related field, or 12+ years of progressive project management experience
- 5+ years in a portfolio management role with deep knowledge of PMI's Standard for Portfolio Management
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Proven ability to influence executive leadership and drive alignment across diverse stakeholders
