PMP Certified Program Manager

Job Summary

To support healthcare system modernization, a full-time PMP Certified Program Manager will oversee program execution across multiple initiatives, develop project management plans, and coordinate with VA and OIT stakeholders while ensuring successful delivery through performance monitoring and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall program oversight and coordination across various healthcare initiatives, ensuring alignment of schedules and implementation activities
• Develop and maintain the Contractor Project Management Plan (CPMP), including project schedules, milestones, and resource planning
• Monitor program performance using metrics and risk tracking, ensuring alignment with program goals and objectives

Required qualifications

• 10 years of experience in healthcare payer program management
• A master's degree relevant to the responsibilities of the role
• A current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• A minimum of six years' experience supporting a large corporation or government agency
