Job Summary
Leading modernization initiatives for the Veterans Health Administration, the full-time PMP Certified Project Manager will oversee project planning, execution, and stakeholder engagement to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery for Veteran Family Member Programs.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the lifecycle of modernization projects, ensuring they meet scope, schedule, and budget requirements
- Serve as the primary liaison among Government leadership, operational stakeholders, and technical teams to facilitate collaboration and communication
- Ensure compliance with VHA governance standards and develop necessary project documentation and reports
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Project Management, Information Systems, or related field
- PMP Certification
- A minimum of four years of experience in Federal healthcare project management or modernization programs
- Experience managing complex operational improvement initiatives and cross-functional project teams
- Proficiency in preparing executive-level reports and governance documentation
