PMP Certified Project Manager

Job Summary

To support AI Strategy, Governance, and Operations initiatives within the Department of Veterans Affairs, a full-time PMP Certified Project Manager will lead end-to-end project management for complex, technology-driven programs, ensuring timely execution and compliance with federal standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project management for AI strategy and governance workstreams, including planning, scheduling, and stakeholder coordination
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, work breakdown structures, and status dashboards to ensure project transparency
• Facilitate project meetings and governance reviews, capturing action items and managing project risks and dependencies

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of project management experience in a technical or IT-focused environment
• Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required
• Prior experience supporting federal agency clients, preferably within the Department of Veterans Affairs
• Ability to obtain and maintain VA network access and meet federal background investigation requirements
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available
