Job Summary
Serving as the single contractor point of contact for the VA's Office of Suicide Prevention, the full-time PMP Certified Project Manager will oversee the lifecycle of a large-scale program aimed at improving care coordination for Veterans at elevated risk, ensuring timely delivery and compliance within a complex federal healthcare environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end program management activities, ensuring alignment with the VA Office of Suicide Prevention's strategic objectives
- Develop and maintain comprehensive program documentation, including project charters and risk registers, in accordance with federal standards
- Coordinate regular program reviews and meetings with VA leadership to track progress and address programmatic issues
Required qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience managing large-scale programs or multi-project portfolios in a corporate, government, or healthcare setting
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, Business, or a related field
- Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent quality certification required at time of application
- Demonstrated experience supporting a federal agency or large healthcare organization, preferably with familiarity with VA operations
- Ability to obtain and maintain VA network access and meet background investigation requirements
