Job Summary
To support the development and analysis of policies related to child welfare programs, the hybrid remote Policy Analyst will analyze existing policies, develop new guidelines, and coordinate with stakeholders to address complex issues while working primarily from home with occasional on-site requirements in the Metro DC area.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze complex issues to identify gaps and propose solutions for policy improvements
- Develop and edit policy documents, ensuring alignment with DoW style expectations
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders through presentations and written materials
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3-10 years of directly relevant experience in policy development or analysis
- Experience assessing federal laws and their impact on policies
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- Experience conducting literature reviews and analyzing data to inform policy
