Job Summary
A company is looking for a Policy and Standardization Lead to support the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Office of Healthcare Technology Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and update policy documents, standard operating procedures, and technical standards
- Support enterprise standardization efforts for telehealth technologies and workflows
- Analyze existing processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements for efficiency and compliance
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- 4+ years of experience in policy development, governance, or standardization within a federal, healthcare, or regulated environment
- Strong understanding of federal regulations and frameworks relevant to healthcare and IT (e.g., HIPAA, NIST, FISMA)
- Experience supporting compliance, audits, or governance activities within a large organization or program
- Ability to analyze complex processes, identify gaps, and develop actionable recommendations for standardization and improvement
