Policy Associate

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Policy Associate to join their Child Nutrition Programs team.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and advocate for statewide child nutrition policies and track related state policies
• Engage with coalitions and partners, providing technical assistance and support for school meal priorities
• Develop advocacy materials and represent the organization at various meetings and events

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of lobbying, legislative, or policy experience required
• State policy experience is strongly preferred
• Advanced education in health policy or nutrition preferred
• Basic knowledge of evidence-based food and nutrition recommendations for health
• Experience working with diverse stakeholders in a professional manner
