Job Summary

Seeking a collaborative Policy Communications Manager, the full-time remote position will manage editorial content, support media relations, and translate complex policy concepts into accessible summaries while reporting to the director of communications.

Key responsibilities

• Edit opinion content and substantive policy-oriented pieces
• Support rapid response media relations efforts in alignment with the news cycle
• Assist senior communications leadership in developing and executing strategic initiatives

Required qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in communications, editorial, media relations, or marketing roles
• Proven knowledge of public policy, ideally with a free-market perspective
• Experience pitching media in a rapid response context
• Background in editing opinion articles and deep policy-oriented pieces
• Ability to translate complex policy ideas into digestible summaries and talking points
