Policy Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Policy Counsel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise on policy initiatives and legislative counseling
• Provide legal analysis and strategic planning guidance
• Represent the company in discussions with legislators and regulators

Required Qualifications:

• Barred in a US state, preferably CA, or eligible to register as California Registered In-House Counsel
• JD and 5-8 years of relevant experience advising on legislation and regulations
• Rigorous analytical skills with the ability to condense complex legal advice
• Pragmatic and self-motivated team player who thrives in fast-paced environments
• Solid working knowledge of the business and a strong interest in travel
