Job Summary
Supporting the company's legislative and regulatory engagement, the full-time remote Policy Manager will develop policy strategies, monitor legislative developments, and coordinate with external stakeholders to provide strategic analysis for government affairs objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor legislative, regulatory, and political developments across priority markets, focusing primarily on the Northeast
- Analyze proposed legislation and regulatory proceedings to identify business impacts and emerging opportunities
- Prepare policy memoranda and strategic recommendations for executive leadership
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Environmental Policy, or a related field, or currently in the final year of such a program
- Three to five years of experience in government affairs, public policy, or legislative affairs
- Legislative or regulatory experience, particularly in the energy sector
- Strong understanding of state legislative and regulatory processes
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and project management skills
