Job Summary
Supporting the North America team, the full-time Policy Officer will conduct research, analyze data, and draft policy documents to advance advocacy objectives related to health and economic opportunities in Africa, based in Washington, D.C.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in implementing advocacy strategies focused on U.S. and Canadian policy issues
- Draft research reports and policy briefs for North American decision-makers
- Analyze data, summarize findings, and produce high-impact policy documents in collaboration with communication teams
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in political science, international development, economics, or a related field preferred
- 4+ years of relevant professional experience in policy analysis or international development
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and data management software
- Strong English writing skills with the ability to synthesize complex information
- Understanding of U.S. policy and decision-making processes in international development
