Policy Research Specialist

Job Summary

Passionate about policy and research, the full-time Policy Research Specialist will analyze legislation and regulatory activity, manage the Policy Map and Scorecard, and support systems change strategies in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Policy Map and Scorecard by analyzing policy developments and ensuring data accuracy
• Generate insights from nationwide legislative activity to inform strategy and contribute to internal and external reports
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support advocacy priorities and enhance the Policy Map and Scorecard

Required qualifications

• 2 years of experience in policy, advocacy, or legislative work, or a JD, MPP, or MPA
• Ability to analyze and critique policy language, including laws and regulations
• Experience in making complex policy information accessible to diverse audiences
• Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and detail
• Commitment to survivor-centered advocacy and FreeFrom's mission
