PON Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a PON Engineer to deploy new technologies and upgrades to the Access network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement new hardware and software for Access Engineering projects
• Maintain lifecycle management within the Data Center and assist with upgrades to the Access Infrastructure
• Create Low-Level Design documentation for network configuration and support

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a relevant field
• BA/BS Degree preferred
• Associate and/or professional level network certification preferred
• Experience with IP Networking, SONET, Ethernet, and Fiber Network Design (PON)
• Familiarity with network performance monitoring tools and advanced technical certifications
