Population Health Quality Specialist
Job Summary
Serving as a Quality Specialist in a full-time remote capacity, the Population Health Quality Specialist will manage HEDIS abstraction, quality measures, audits, and chart reviews to ensure compliance with quality metrics and support organizational goals.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct extensive electronic medical record (EHR) reviews and data abstraction for quality metric compliance
- Ensure accurate clinical documentation to support payer audits and monitor performance toward quality measure goals
- Assist in implementing workflows and interventions to close care gaps in preventive care and chronic condition management
Required qualifications
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience, OR Associate's/Bachelor's degree, OR 4 years of applicable job-specific experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare quality, population health, or HEDIS audit/abstraction roles
- Experience with auditing/abstraction of clinical data points from medical records, focusing on HEDIS measures
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athena
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Excel, including Pivot Tables
