Porphyria Columnist

Job Summary

To support the porphyria community, the fully remote Porphyria Columnist will write personal essays weekly, sharing insights and experiences related to living with porphyria, while collaborating with editors to refine content.

Key responsibilities

• Fulfill weekly column deadlines and submit drafts of 400-800 words
• Communicate efficiently with managers and editors regarding content and revisions
• Complete assigned training and respond to editorial feedback in a timely manner

Required qualifications

• Must be a member of the porphyria community, with a preference for patients
• At least three months of direct experience caring for someone with porphyria
• Prior experience writing for an audience
• Ability to produce content that adheres to specific guidelines and policies
• Native or fluent English writing and reading abilities
