Portfolio Manager, Lab Consumables

Job Summary

Responsible for managing the VWR supplier brand consumable product portfolio, the full-time Portfolio Manager, Lab Consumables will develop and execute portfolio strategies, introduce new products, and oversee portfolio improvement projects in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Develop growth plans and new product pipelines based on customer needs and market analytics
• Oversee portfolio financial performance, including revenue and margin expansion, while communicating results to stakeholders
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operational teams to achieve growth targets for Lab Consumables products

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Minimum of five years of experience in commercial, technical, portfolio, category, or product management within laboratory or life science products
• Proven experience in identifying and developing business growth opportunities
• Strong economic and financial acumen related to portfolio management
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a global and cross-functional organization
