Portfolio Strategy Director

Job Summary

To support strategic initiatives in the insurance industry, the full-time remote Portfolio Strategy Director will manage portfolio prioritization, connect product and engineering work to financial goals, and define reporting architecture for outcomes, influencing decisions at the executive level.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate productive roadmap tradeoff conversations between product, engineering, and business leaders
• Articulate the connection between product and engineering work and the organization's long-term financial goals
• Define and implement the reporting architecture for measuring product and engineering outcomes

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in product operations, business operations, or strategy/operations consulting
• Proven ability to drive decisions on ambiguous, high-stakes problems independently
• Experience building operating models and conducting complex cross-functional analyses
• Strong communication skills across diverse audiences, including C-suite executives
• Genuine curiosity about insurance technology and AI commercialization
