Job Summary

Fluent in English and German, the part-time Portugal Licensed Telemedicine Doctor will remotely evaluate patient consultations and issue prescriptions for weight loss treatments in accordance with clinical protocols and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate patient consultations using an asynchronous online platform to determine treatment eligibility
• Prescribe treatments following clinical protocols and local regulations, ensuring safe supply
• Engage in team meetings and training sessions while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of prescribing requirements

Required qualifications

• Registered doctor from the Order of Physicians (The Ordem dos M dicos)
• Specialization in endocrinology and nutrition, internal medicine, or general and family medicine
• Experience managing obesity and type 2 diabetes, with a preference for knowledge of GLP1 treatments
• Experience in a digital health or telemedicine environment
• Fluency in written and spoken English; proficiency in German is advantageous
