Job Summary

A company is looking for a Portuguese Instructor.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver language instruction using proficiency-oriented methods and materials
Teach all ILR skill levels, focusing primarily on speaking proficiency
Develop and implement tailored syllabi, lesson plans, and instructional materials

Required Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree or higher (or equivalent experience)
Four or more years of experience teaching Portuguese to adult learners
Proficiency in Portuguese and in English
Experience with proficiency-oriented language instruction methods
Familiarity with the Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) proficiency scale
