POS Conversion Specialist
Job Summary
Working remotely on a contract basis, the Franchise POS Conversion Specialist will coordinate and support the transition of POS systems, assist users through the conversion process, and manage data conversion activities while maintaining documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule POS system conversions, ensuring adherence to project timelines
- Assist users with the step-by-step process of POS system conversion, providing guidance and support
- Conduct testing of software releases and support staff training on new features and updates
Required qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years experience in helpdesk, technical support, or POS system roles
- Proven ability to deliver end-user training and support in a technical environment
- Experience with data conversion, migration, or ETL processes, particularly in retail or POS settings
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively within teams
