POS System Build Specialist

Job Summary

To support new store openings, the part-time POS System Build Specialist will manage technical aspects of store system builds, including installation, configuration, and testing of POS systems, while collaborating with on-site technicians and store teams in a remote capacity over a 12-month contract.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor progress of system builds and network connections using appropriate tools and processes
• Lead the installation and configuration of store systems applications, including servers and devices
• Provide oversight and support for technicians and third-party vendors during remote and on-site system builds

Required qualifications

• 6 to 8 years of relevant IT experience, particularly in Retail Store Systems setup and support
• Degree in an Information Technology-related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server OS and network circuits
• Experience with Information Security concepts and tools
• Familiarity with Service Now is preferred
