Post Closing Specialist

Job Summary

To ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines, the full-time Post Closing Specialist will prepare real estate loans for booking and settlement while working remotely or in a hybrid model if located near Santa Ana, CA, or Austin, TX.

Key responsibilities

• Perform post-audit reviews of secondary market loans based on regulatory agency and investor requirements
• Prepare files for audits and ensure compliance with quality control checklists
• Coordinate the disbursement of residential mortgage loans and manage trailing documents with outside investors

Required qualifications

• Working knowledge of conventional and government residential mortgage loans and investor guidelines
• Prior experience with Loan Origination Systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
• High school diploma or GED, with three to five years of relevant experience preferred
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good verbal and written communication skills
