Post Closing Specialist

Job Summary

To support the post-closing process, the full-time Post Closing Specialist will prepare real estate loans for booking and settlement, ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines while working remotely or in a hybrid capacity if located near Santa Ana, CA or Austin, TX.

Key responsibilities

• Perform post-audit reviews of secondary market loans based on regulatory agency and investor requirements
• Prepare files for audits and disburse all residential mortgage loans
• Reconcile HUD/Settlement Statements and coordinate trailing documents with outside investors

Required qualifications

• Working knowledge of conventional and government residential mortgage loans and investor guidelines
• Three to five years of experience in the field is preferred
• Proficiency with Loan Origination Systems and Microsoft Office programs
• High school diploma or GED is required
• Excellent attention to detail
