Job Summary

Experienced mortgage professionals will find a fully remote opportunity as a Post-Closing Specialist, responsible for conducting detailed reviews of residential mortgage loan files to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with investor requirements while maintaining file integrity and supporting operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed post-closing reviews of residential mortgage loan files for accuracy and salability
• Audit closed loan packages to identify documentation discrepancies and coordinate with various teams for corrections
• Monitor trailing documents and assist with investor purchase suspense resolution and documentation requests

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in mortgage post-closing, closing, or related mortgage operations
• Strong understanding of residential mortgage loan documentation and post-closing workflows
• Familiarity with Non-QM loan products and mortgage compliance regulations
• Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
• Experience with mortgage loan origination systems and document management platforms
