Post Closing Specialist

Job Summary

Responsible for reviewing and managing residential mortgage loan files post-closing, the full-time Post Closing Specialist will ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery to investors while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve suspense items or investor stipulations prior to funding or purchase deadlines
• Communicate with internal teams and external parties to address post-closing issues and escalate unresolved matters
• Maintain accurate records and reports while meeting established service level agreements and productivity standards

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 3 years of mortgage post-closing or mortgage operations experience
• Knowledge of mortgage loan documents, closing procedures, and investor requirements
• Familiarity with FHA, VA, USDA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines preferred
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
