Job Summary

A company is looking for a Post Quality Control Auditor.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct quality control audits of closed loans with a focus on delinquent loans and oversight audits
• Perform in-depth reviews and risk analysis of mortgage loans, identifying defects and escalating issues to management
• Ensure compliance with investor and agency guidelines while maintaining knowledge of underwriting standards and policies

Required Qualifications

• Strong ability to detect potential misrepresentation and fraud
• Previous experience in underwriting or quality control review/audit of mortgage loans
• Working knowledge of investor guidelines such as FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, USDA, and Jumbo
• Ability to analyze risk related to investment quality loans and provide comprehensive documentation
• 5 or more years of experience in underwriting, credit, and/or quality control preferred
