Postdoctoral Research Fellow

Job Summary

Focusing on bioinformatic investigations of central nervous system remyelination, the full-time Postdoctoral Research Fellow will manage research projects utilizing genetic mouse models and various sequencing methodologies, with opportunities for in-person, remote, or hybrid work arrangements.

Key responsibilities

• Run a research project investigating CNS cell interactions during remyelination using genetic models and sequencing techniques
• Regularly attend and contribute to laboratory and departmental meetings
• Contribute to the preparation of scientific manuscripts and stay updated on relevant scientific literature

Required qualifications

• PhD in Neuroscience
• Experience with rodent models of CNS injury and bioinformatics
• Proficiency in machine learning approaches to microscopy analysis
• Strong documentation and written communication skills
• Able to perform essential functions of the position with or without accommodation
