PostgreSQL Database Administrator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a PostgreSQL Database Administrator and Business Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize PostgreSQL schemas and performance related to the central data warehouse
• Design and maintain data mappings and transformations between vendor systems and a unified schema
• Lead data ingestion processes from external practice management systems into the financial and appointment data warehouse

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience with financial and scheduling data from medical practice management systems
• Strong understanding of common financial data domains such as charges, payments, and appointments
• Expertise in PostgreSQL database administration, including performance tuning and schema management
• Proven success in building and troubleshooting complex ETL workflows using Python and SQL
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
