PostgreSQL Software Development Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Development Engineer, PostgreSQL Contributors.

Key Responsibilities

• Author, review, and commit PostgreSQL core database engine code to the central open source repository
• Engage in discussions regarding designs, architecture, and bugs on public PostgreSQL mailing lists
• Contribute to features, fixes, testing, security, and performance benchmarking of PostgreSQL

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• 2+ years of experience in design or architecture of new and existing systems
• 1+ years of experience as a software development engineer or in a related role
• 1+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
