Posting Payment Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Posting Payment Specialist.

Responsibilities:

• Pull deposits from bank lockbox/website and remits from various websites to post payments
• Run deposit reports to ensure daily deposits are balanced
• Post all payments and denials, maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounts, and act as a backup to find remits on various websites

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Basic accounting principles and medical billing experience preferred, but not required
• Basic computer knowledge, and experience with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Customer service oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and quickly adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
