Power BI Analyst

Job Summary

To support a value-add reporting and database development project, the part-time hourly Power BI Analyst (Finance Support) will create Power BI dashboards from scratch, identify key performance indicators (KPIs), and train cross-functional leaders in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Create and develop Power BI dashboards focused on financial KPIs such as bookings, billings, revenue, and EBITDA
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional leaders to convey data insights and facilitate user adoption of the reporting framework
• Utilize SQL databases and integrate Power BI with HTML to enhance reporting capabilities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field
• 5+ years of corporate finance or finance support experience with a focus on Power BI development
• Proven experience in creating Power BI dashboards from scratch, emphasizing KPIs for financial analysis
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases and experience with Power BI integration using HTML
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups, with experience handling data sets up to 500k rows
