Power BI Consultant

Job Summary

To support a priority project, the remote Power BI Consultant will focus on migrating approximately 400 IBM Cognos reports to Power BI, while also developing and maintaining additional dashboards and reports within the Enterprise Data Management and Analytics team.

Key responsibilities:

• Migrate production Cognos reports to Power BI by developing equivalent or enhanced dashboards
• Provide production support for dashboards and reports, including data analysis, testing, issue resolution, and enhancements
• Create consolidated Power BI usage reports and related metrics to support departmental and organizational needs

Required qualifications:

• Advanced experience working with Oracle DBMS, PL/SQL, SQL
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Power BI, including designing and building reports and dashboards
• Experience with IBM Cognos and Microsoft Fabric
• Expert problem-solving skills, including debugging and identifying issues in unfamiliar code or systems
• Knowledge of current and emerging data management and analytics technologies
