Power BI Consultant
Job Summary
To support a large-scale analytics modernization initiative, the full-time Senior Power BI Consultant will design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards, consume certified semantic models, and optimize DAX calculations while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards using PBIP project format, ensuring alignment with business requirements
- Consume shared and certified semantic models, collaborating with architects to identify reporting needs and validate model usability
- Develop complex DAX calculations and perform detailed reconciliation between legacy reports and new Power BI deliverables
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience developing enterprise Power BI solutions
- Strong understanding of Semantic Modeling concepts and advanced DAX development skills
- Experience with Power BI Service, Workspace administration, and Git-based version control
- Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) certification
