Power BI Data Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled Power BI Data Engineer, this full-time remote position will manage the development of sophisticated Power BI dashboards, design scalable data pipelines, and implement data governance frameworks to transform complex data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Create visually stunning Power BI dashboards and reports that drive business decisions
• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using Power Query and Azure Data Factory
• Configure and manage Power BI workspaces, ensuring data protection and optimizing report performance

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI development and expert-level proficiency in DAX and Power Query
• Strong SQL skills with experience in database design and performance tuning
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL principles
• Experience with Azure data services, including Azure SQL Database and Synapse Analytics
• Proficiency in data visualization best practices and UI/UX design principles
