Power BI & Databricks Engineer
Job Summary
To support data-driven decision-making, the full-time remote Power BI & Databricks Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and analytics solutions while transforming raw data into high-quality datasets and delivering insights through Power BI dashboards.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks and optimize Spark jobs for performance
- Implement data transformation, cleansing, and validation logic to ensure data quality and consistency
- Design and develop Power BI semantic models, dashboards, and reports to support business decision-making
Required qualifications
- 6 or more years of experience with relevant programming languages, relational databases, and software
- Experience supporting state Medicaid agencies or Medicaid managed care analytics
- Familiarity with enterprise BI integrations and governed analytics platforms
- Knowledge of Medicaid claims adjudication and eligibility determination processes
- Experience with data governance, security, and access controls in Power BI
