Power BI Developer

Job Summary

To support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record (EHR) program, an experienced Power BI Developer will work full-time to design, develop, and maintain scalable reporting, dashboarding, automation, and data transformation solutions that enhance operational visibility and decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support decision-making at various organizational levels
• Develop and sustain Power Apps and Power Platform solutions to improve workflow efficiency and operational support functions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure reporting products meet operational and strategic needs

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or related technical roles
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with SQL, DAX, Power Query/M, and Power Fx for coding and data transformation
• Federal experience supporting programs or reporting needs in healthcare operations
• Proven ability to develop advanced Power BI dashboards and reports
• Experience with workflow automation using Power Automate or similar tools
