Power BI Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing data analytics team, the contract Power BI Engineer will create and optimize dashboards, manage data modeling, and utilize Python and SQL for data processing, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Create and optimize Power BI dashboards and data models for self-service analytics
- Manage large-scale data processing using Apache Spark and cloud platforms
- Build and optimize data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes
Required qualifications
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics, or related data platform development
- Strong proficiency in Power BI, Python, and SQL
- Hands-on experience with Apache Spark and large-scale data processing
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric is a strong advantage
