Power BI ETL Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled Power BI & Databricks ETL Engineer, the remote position will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions, transforming raw data into reliable datasets and delivering impactful business insights through Power BI dashboards and reports.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks and ingest data from multiple sources
• Implement data transformation, cleansing, and validation logic to ensure data quality and consistency
• Develop Power BI semantic models, dashboards, and reports to support business decision-making

Required qualifications

• Six or more years of experience in application, web, and product design across the development life cycle
• Strong foundation in software and product design methodologies and programming languages
• Experience supporting Medicaid analytics or state healthcare programs
• Expertise in application development policies and procedures
• Familiarity with enterprise BI integrations and governed analytics platforms
