Power BI Subject Matter Expert

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Power BI Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead the development and governance of their Power BI environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate ad-hoc Power BI reports and provide technical guidance
• Conduct Power BI training and serve as the go-to expert for architecture and performance optimization
• Collaborate with data engineers on data sourcing and maintain technical documentation and governance policies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of relevant experience
• Expert-level proficiency with Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, and data modeling techniques
• Deep understanding of data governance and BI lifecycle management
• Experience integrating Power BI with Azure services and SQL Server
• Familiarity with Power BI licensing models and usage monitoring tools
