Power Developer
Job Summary
Driving the strategy and execution of utility-scale energy projects, the full-time remote Power Developer will manage project lifecycles, negotiate commercial agreements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact assets in the clean energy sector.
Key responsibilities
- Lead utility-scale wind, solar, storage, and natural gas projects from initial strategy through construction handover
- Own financial modeling and commercial negotiations, providing guidance across all project workstreams
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure project timelines and budgets are met efficiently
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
- 5-10 years of experience in power project development or M&A within the clean energy sector
- Expertise in managing financial models and structuring commercial deals
- Strong understanding of ISO/RTO interconnection processes and power purchase agreements (PPAs)
- Proven ability to lead teams through critical development milestones and negotiations
