Power Engineering Technical Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Technical Lead focused on Microgrid & BESS Design Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop innovative designs and costing for switchgear and other OEMs, ensuring scalability across projects
• Lead the full life-cycle of BESS and DER project design from conceptualization to full system design
• Manage engineering consultants in preparing detailed engineering and construction drawings and specifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with a focus on power
• 4+ years of experience in power/generation/renewable energy project design and construction
• In-depth understanding of industry standards and regulations (e.g., NEC, UL, ISO)
• Experience with AutoCAD for creating conceptual diagrams and site layouts
• Knowledge of distributed energy technologies including solar, battery, and reciprocating engines/turbines
