Power Market Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Power Market Analyst to predict and model wholesale and retail market costs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop models for wholesale and retail cost analysis and prediction
• Manage and update daily, weekly, and monthly cost models
• Track and educate the organization and customers on wholesale market changes and risks

Required Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of experience working at an ISO, utility, or energy provider preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, with emphasis in Operations, Finance, or related field
• High level technical skills, including advanced Excel formulas and models
• Experience with VBA and/or Power BI
• Basic understanding of databases/SQL
