Power Markets Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Power Markets Analyst to support its Power Markets Advisory service line.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed revenue models for solar, storage, and hybrid asset portfolios
• Monitor and analyze evolving wholesale market structures and regulatory developments
• Prepare technical analyses, reports, and presentations for client engagements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or related quantitative field
• 2-5 years of experience in energy markets, financial modeling, or quantitative analysis
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Python, R, or similar analytical tools
• Basic knowledge of wholesale electricity markets and market structures
• Understanding of energy storage technologies and renewable energy projects preferred
