Job Summary
Delivering technical expertise and customer service to the electrical infrastructure industry, the full-time remote Power Systems Application Engineer will support project execution, develop engineering standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate specifications and designs.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as a technical advisor to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring accurate specifications and error-free designs
- Collaborate with account managers to define technical scope and participate in RFQ reviews to identify risks and constraints
- Develop and present value-engineered solutions based on project requirements while maintaining industry standards
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred
- 5+ years of electrical power systems application experience in Marine, Heavy Industrial, or Oil & Gas environments
- Working knowledge of applicable standards, including NEC, NFPA 70E, NEMA, IEEE, IEC, UL/CSA
- Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with project management, CRM, and ERP systems
