Power Systems Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Power Systems Engineer / Electrical Engineer to support combined cycle power projects remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform power system studies for mixed asset generation projects, including load flow, short circuit, and transient stability analysis
• Develop and maintain detailed electrical system models using industry-standard software tools
• Support grid interconnection processes and collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams during project development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• 5-20 years of experience in power systems engineering, preferably in power generation or EPC environments
• Strong experience with at least two of the following tools: DigSILENT PowerFactory, PSS E, PSLF, PSCAD, ETAP
• Proven experience with combined cycle or large-scale generation projects including BESS
• Solid understanding of transmission and distribution systems and grid interconnection requirements
