Seeking experienced traders, the full-time remote Power Trader will leverage analytical skills to trade financial and physical power products across major U.S. markets while collaborating with a dedicated support team.
Key responsibilities:
- Trade a broad range of financial and physical power products in North American wholesale markets
- Analyze market data and develop trading strategies with support from analysts and engineers
- Adapt to fast-paced market changes and thrive under pressure while managing risk effectively
Required qualifications:
- Experience trading in North American wholesale power markets, with knowledge of major markets such as PJM, ERCOT, or MISO
- Strong analytical capabilities and an entrepreneurial mindset
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written
- Willingness to travel for training and knowledge sharing
