Job Summary
Working remotely as a contractor, the Powertrain Warranty Authorization Agent will manage the authorization of dealer warranty repairs for OEM vehicles, providing live support to dealers and processing warranty claims during an 8-hour shift between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM Eastern Time.
Key responsibilities
- Process warranty claims and provide technical support to dealers regarding warranty policy and claim submissions
- Resolve dealer inquiries and issues related to claim entry and submission through various communication channels
- Maintain quality standards in warranty claims processing and identify operational efficiencies for continuous improvement
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 0-2 years of experience in automotive after-sales, warranty management, or related fields
- 2-4 years of experience using PCs and various systems
- Working knowledge of vehicle systems and diagnostic procedures
- Ability to engage effectively with automotive dealers
