Job Summary
Seeking a remote Powertrain Warranty Authorization Agent, this contractor role is responsible for authorizing dealer warranty repairs for major U.S.-based OEM vehicles, providing live support to dealers, and processing warranty claims during an 8-hour shift from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday through Friday.
Key responsibilities
- Process warranty claims and provide technical support to dealers regarding warranty policies and claim submissions
- Resolve dealer inquiries and issues related to claim entry and submission via phone, email, or chat
- Ensure compliance with warranty policies while maintaining quality and service standards in claims processing
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 2 years of experience in automotive after-sales, warranty management, or related fields
- Familiarity with vehicle systems, diagnostic procedures, and repair documentation
- 2-4 years of experience using PC and various systems
- Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
